Keith and his wife Julie spoke to my husband and myself on several different occasions singing the praises of Dave Ramsey’s money management plan. I have to say, I was more than a bit skeptical about the whole thing. I watched them not only speak of the plan but really work it in their own lives. I watched as they were able to get themselves out of the hard places that happen in all of our financial lives… car repairs, home repairs, replacing worn out appliances such as washers and dryers and such… they did all of this without borrowing money!! Not once!!! They were not only talking about it with us, they were applying it to their own lives and being very successful at it. My husband and I began talking about the principles of the Dave Ramsey financial plan. We began saving our money, talking with each other about our bills… YES, we TALKED about them and we began saving our money. I can say that these principals, however small you may consider them to be, have been a huge help for us in our marriage! What use to be a no-win argument has turned into a plan that we both agree on. We have also planned and agreed on ways for us to pay down our student loans, our total student debt will be paid off in less than 5 years. The only loan we will have after the student loans will be our house, the money that we would have been paying on our student loans will be added to our house payment. This will ensure that our home will truly be ours within half the life of the loan, if not faster!! Thank you Keith and Julie for not only speaking about it but living it too!!!

Keith has a been available for money questions, offered advice on how to cut back on needless spending, held group meetings to educate how to cut debt. Even giving simple advice like suggesting weekly meal planning to cut need less spending at the store, all for the sake of helping others get a handle on their finances and debt.
